But, says @TheBulwark's Will Sommer, Carlson's platforming of Fuentes is perfectly in line with what the MAGA movement was already doing. "The right has no immune system against hatemongers and grifters. Few people in MAGA circles are willing to stand up to them — and the audiences likely wouldn’t support them if they did," writes Sommer.

The current skirmish in the GOP is not really about whether antisemitism is acceptable in the GOP. Rather, it’s about who you’re allowed to use antisemitism against.
