Today at 16.00 CET we have another NLnet Open Office hour. If you have any questions, you can drop by in our Matrix room and ask them.
You can already enter your questions to the Etherpad and we'll answer them this afternoon.
The questions that are asked are collected in a FAQ so the answers are available to others as well.

The European Commission has issued a survey on the Governance and Sustainability of Critical Open Source Software.
The survey hopes to identify "pathways for collective efforts" and make "actionable recommendations for public administrations".
It's a relatively short survey, takes max 15 minutes & provides lots of opportunities to rate FOSS as 'very important' 😛

Are you working on Free & Open Source technologies that benefit other people too? Consider to apply for funding in our open calls.

Another 45 FOSS projects have been selected for the #NGI0 Commons Fund. We want to thank the project teams for their contribution to a free and open internet. In a world increasingly in the grip of proprietary technologies and those who control them, we are proud to be supporting people who choose to work on the digital commons: shared digital assets that serve not the few but the many.
Come over to read what each project is working on.

Interoperability of Events in the Fediverse
Hooray! It is now official: We have been granted funding by NLnet to support the realisation the vision we outlined in our last post.
Events are at the heart of social life and deserve to be treated accordingly in the Fediverse. […]
In addition, we will also investigate the Fediverse Auxiliary Service Provider Specifications (FASPs) for discoverability and filtering of public events.
Flock XR is a visual creativity & coding tool that allows young people to create 3D experiences in a web browser.
Catherine Elliott, of the Flock XR project wanted to find out how it can be used to engage learners with social emotional and mental health needs. She engaged a group of 12-14 year olds who were not only asked to build a 3D project but also to act as beta testers, a task they quite enjoyed.

Commons Caretakers has a job opening for a coordinator for the NGI0 support services. Grantees of NGI0 funds can request a wide range of services, from technical writing to UX advice. The coordinator, well, coordinates between the support providers and the grantees.
You'll be working closely together with NLnet's Technology Assessors to support project teams.
Location is hybrid: partly remote and partly in-office in the Netherlands.
