HAPPENING NOW: Judge Charles Breyer is presiding over a hearing in #Newsom v. #Trump -- the first hearing in the district court following the Ninth Circuit's order allowing Trump to mobilize the national guard in #California.
Judge Breyer starts by saying that the parties and the court need to decide how to move forward. (This was supposed to be a preliminary injunction hearing, but Ninth Circuit construed his initial TRO as a preliminary injunction and stayed it.)
