Some impressive footage but long stretches of not much happening, and missed opportunities to explore some of the ideas: e.g. would we sacrifice others to save ourselves?
Watched in the #ReMonsterdon watch party on Mastodon
finished watching The Invite 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Kinda tough to rate this one because it starts off really strong with interesting cinematography, and don't get me wrong, it doesn't get *bad* at any point, but I stopped noticing interesting shots about halfway through. Some of the bits were drawn out, but overall the characters are really well-written.

Not very exciting scifi actioner full of tropes.

Not great, poor pacing & plenty of "gratuitous 3D shots".
Rewatched in the #FridayThrillerClub watch party for the 1st time since seeing it in 3D in the cinema in 1983/84
