These were in the hallway at the Boardwalk Resort at DisneyWorld when we were there a couple years ago. They’re known as nanny chairs and inspired by 19th century carousel chairs - where a caretaker could sit and ride with the child without riding on a carousel horse.
While this one has something of a smile, it creeped me out every time we passed it. I told my husband that I wouldn’t be surprised if it moved just a bit closer to our room each day (on its own). And that by the end of our stay, I’d wake up in the morning and the dang thing would have made its way to my bedside. 🫣🤣
