The Stormy Romance of Frédéric Chopin and George Sand
The decade-long relationship between the composer Chopin and the author Sand, though unlikely, was a testament to the Romantic belief in the virtues of genius.

R U sad that this nice refreshing spring time is fading away now? Worry not! Here's something 2 comfort you, to get your spirits dancing again:
RADIO IRRTUM!
——— ↓↓↓ Deutsch Version below unten ↓↓↓ ———
The next issue of #RadioIrrtum! will arrive this Saturday, 2026/06/06, 8:00pm UTC+2/Berlin time/CET. On Alex Berlin at DAB+ K12D in #Berlin/Brandenburg + worldwide @ https://www.alex-berlin.de/radio-livestream .
A German language #radioShow exploring the sonic vastness of the #underground. Emitted transmissions may raise attention for new unheard #music. Don't worry about the #GermanLanguage aspect - this is about #music!
This time we'll have…
- #Trap from Germany that doesn't sound like Trap from Germany
- glitchy+noisy VHS cassette #SynthWave
- hefty Bristol #Bass #Disco
- distorted Bass
- #Jazz played by Bass musicians
- Shoegazing Bass
- groovy #IDM
- #CrustPunk
- #EggPunk
- even more styles of #Punk
- German #KinderLieder
- French #Casio #Sofa #Lofi Pop
- #SpokenWords #Dub
-
Yo! Lots of bass, lotta Punk. And what's in-between. 4 (four!) German language tracks this time and 1 in French (the rest in English).
I'll get into trouble trying to pronounce French album titles, and explain this and that in relation to the music and the artists played. That's the whole concept.
Besides, there will be #creativeCommons content, cuz music wants 2b free. Lots of tracks played aren't on #Spotify - yes, isn't a music industry friendly place. Most important: We've got outstanding #FediArtists like @phantasmagorie or @dlikdh !
I'll post playlist + manuscript later here. Having questions? I'll gladly answer. Just ask. CU all on Saturday! :)
PS: I'm quite happy with my "Bass Geologists" animation. See animated logo below.

Connecting over a special interest like electronic music is tricky, because the music I enjoy is very intense and it happens so often, that just one an aspect, which feels “wrong” (often it’s the vocals) can ruin a whole song for me.
Music has been a special interest of mine since I was a little girl, but I am not a musician, I listen, dance, make playlists and analyze it concerning the structure and the feelings the different elements create in me.
For about two months by now I have been in a hyperfocus on drum and bass music (Neurofunk, Techstep), especially the tracks of my favorite D&B artist. I bought his whole discography on Bandcamp and spent many hours a day listening and dancing to it, because I wanted to find out what makes a song work for me. Creating different playlists with his songs was like playing Lego for me, I had fun like toddler.
Now I want to find more music that works for me, but as I mentioned before, it’s pretty difficult, so I would be very happy about recommendations. The following playlist contains songs from several artists I currently like most, if some of them resonate with you, we might have a similar taste.
Boosts for visibility would be great. Thank you in advance.
