A short history of Paul and his playlists: First I started making mixtapes to play in my car. Then I started making mix cds to share with friends. Later I started sharing playlists with complete strangers on Soundcloud. Now I have a weekly show on Mixcloud for friends, strangers and other music fans. You're invited to listen in to hear alternative rock from XTC to Maneskin and all the decades in between. Listen here:

I should promote this one again. It seems like we're unable to end the cycle of Republicanism.
I kind of like how it turned out.
This is layer upon layer, built and removed. There are many little melodies weaving the tapestry of this one.
My first 100% modular track in a while.

Psst: Wanna know about the secret correlation of sex, witches and ring modulators?
It will all be revealed at…
RADIO IRRTUM! (on air from Berlin)
↓↓↓ Deutsch Version below unten ↓↓↓
Yeah: Da next issue of #RadioIrrtum! will air this Saturday, 2025/06/07, 8:00pm UTC+2/Berlin time. At Alex Berlin FM at 91MHz / DAB+ K7D around #Berlin + worldwide at https://www.alex-berlin.de/radio-livestream .
#Radio Irrtum! is a German language #radioShow exploring the sonic vastness of the #underground. Emitted transmissions may raise attention for new unheard #music all over this planets genre spectrum. Don't worry about that #GermanLanguage - it's about the #music!
Music which this time may lean more than usual on the electronic side, as there will be…
- raw 'n also #glitchy #Pop
- #Demoscene #Garage
- free flowing #Acid
- swedish #Electro
- scratchy, breaky #Bass
- experimental #Electronica
- #industrial in various ways (#breakbeats, noise, #spokenWord)
- hardcore #punk
- even nature #soundscapes
Among others there will be #CreativeCommons music, & of course we'll have a bunch of #FediverseArtists in it as well. So shout outs to @sonicwalker, @h0ffman who was kind enough to let me have a (I think) #exclusive version (!) of one of his latest tracks, and especially to @rktic, like H0ffman an absolute Demoscene legend, who granted me the absolute pleasure of a deep diving interview about a lot of aspects of making music (right) with him.
I will post a link to the almost 40 min running #interview I've enhanced into #multimedial dimensions (no kidding – was more work than anticipated, but also fun) alongside the show within this threat here, when the time is right. It also has English subtitles (only here with editorial remarks).
And then there is that educational section about sex, witches and #ringModulation. Just saying. I mean - it's almost 2 min long, complete with music examples - where can you get secret knowledge about the inner works of the universe in under 2 min? Yes - at Radio Irrtum!
Anyway: If at least a bit interested in kewl new unusual #music, tune in! 📻
Playlist + manuscript + interview link afterwards here (provided I’m home, else it will come up the day after). And if you have questions? I'll gladly answer! Just ask!
CU all on Saturday! :)

Rated [Led Zeppelin IV] 9/10
I mean, it’s Led Zeppelin IV. What is there to say? It’s good? The more I learn about what absolute twats the band were the less I want to listen to it but I mean, ffs, it's IV!

Growing up in the late 80s/early 90s I genuinely thought Elton was one of the most objectionably dreadful musicians on the planet, until Almost Famous sent me down a rabbithole of his 70's stuff. How do artists fall so far, so hard? This is probably the best album of Americana not written by an American.Shit, no, wait, Neil Young's Canadian, isn't he?

Speaking of rock stars who got away with some desperately awful things...This is the only Bowie I own, which is a bit weird I guess, but I have a soft spot for its winsome folksiness.
🎶imagine one day you are wandering in the woods and you pass through a strange shimmering barrier. on the other side in a clearing you find on the mossy ground a strange looking cassette. the tape itself seems to shimmer with a strange iridescent glow, and on it is written ‘lofi beats to…’ but the last part is smudged and unreadable
next to it you see an old cassette tape player, powered through no visible means. though something tells you this may not be a good idea, you pop the tape in and press play…

Hi! 👋
I'm a #music producer with a strong passion for #photography. Music-wise I lean toward #EDM, while photography ranges from aerial to architecture and everyday stills.
A big believer in #privacy, digital independence, and owning your own space online, powered by #FOSS.
When I'm not crafting electronic noise or framing pixels, I’m reading terms and conditions just to feel something. 😁
Also, I get paid to talk. Not much—I just talk a lot.
Feel free to connect! ✨
