I had forgotten how hard this movie hits until I happened upon it on while browsing hotel cable recently. The impact of the LA river chase scene had faded on me over the years, but seeing it again brought back all the adrenaline. It one-ups itself at every turn and really cements the relentless pace that the entire movie runs on. This is peak "thrill ride" fare.
