Rated Spider-Man: Brand New Day 8/10
By far the best spiderman imo. I went hard on all the previous movies giving this one extra oomph. I’ve grown to really like this series. Great range of storytelling, the leads have settled into their thing and there were multiple moments where I cried, laughed and said hot damn thats cool. Classic Entertainment.

The story of a young man who finds love while attempting to film a documentary about Sherman and his Southern Campaign and the effects it had on the people years later.The film is a long watch. If you go in wanting the history aspect, prepare to be bored. It is an interesting concept, however, and a model of a personal connection to documentary making that every film student should see.I watched this movie at the historic Film Streams Dundee Theater.

It was a superhero movie. Not entirely remarkable, but the fact that they tried to make it different by making it a John Wick-like revenge tale was something that made it stand out more than normal superhero films of the day. I'd watch it again.(This film was viewed at ACX Aksarben)
Rated Coyote vs. Acme 10/10
"Coyote vs ACME" is a wonderful tribute to the rules Chuck Jones established with his Roadrunner series, wrapped up in an anti-corporate narrative that has Wile E. Coyote show off his ingenuity and perseverance. It's also the tale of NEVER LETTING GO OF A POSSIBLE CASH COW, DAVID!!(Oh, I watched this at Alamo Drafthouse in La Vista, NE, where they ran a rather unique pre-show for Coyote vs. ACME. If you have a Drafthouse theater, the Roadrunner preshow enhances the experience.)
