#MosaicMonday some weekdays are rougher than others and arguably Monday might be the roughest! This Amazon warrior seems to be having a bit of a rough time as well, trying to fend off a well-armoured enemy.

The Greek is seizing the Phrygian cap of the Amazon. Cropped detail of a mosaic from Daphne, a suburb of Antioch on the Orontes (modern Antakya, Turkey), now on display in the Denon Wing of the Louvre Museum.”
