Finally broke looking at the new #Mastodon interface and decided to try #Phanpy, but it's even more bloated.
Fired up my old #Sengi desktop client but it looks like the code is no longer maintained and the version I have doesn't work any more.
Didn't there used to be other popular web interfaces you could use to connect to your Mastodon account (on any instance)?
Just thought you Fedi folk would like to see what they're saying at the other place, now that Bsky's CEO had a public crash out.

Please educate newcomers on using bridgy fed to bridge their accounts to the #Fediverse this is an excellent tool for not needing an account on bsky and #Mastodon while strengthening the open social web. Say whatever else you will about #Mastodon, but it's really the only social media platform I've used since the fall of Google+ where I don't feel a twinge of nausea in the morning when I contemplate looking to see what has come rolling in overnight.
