Mt Wachusett on a hot day. Left Bolton around 8am. Made it to the top around 9:40am.
Waaaaaaaachusett

A few years ago when I rode up Mt Wachusett the first time, I met two cyclists at the summit and asked them where they rode from. They said Boston. I was thinking, they must be crazy and out of their freaking mind.

And now, I did it! To be honest, I've done several rides that are more epic and way harder than this one - for example a 100 miles ride with Greylock Summit which is 12000ft climb in total. But the ride out to Wachusett from Boston has a special place in my heart.

Also hit my yearly goal of 200000ft climb for rides IRL. Yay!

#biketoot #cycling #Massachusetts #wachusett #Boston

A teenage asylum seeker was taken by ICE after being arrested in a suburb of Boston by police for allegedly pushing down her brother (causing him no harm). The 18-year-old high school girl was then brought to Maine by ICE. If the press reports are true, this story should horrify all of us. Why was she arrested on such an absurd charge?
