#Snohomish #marathon today: got up 4:30am, left home at 6, and started running at 7:30. Watch/Strava reports time 3:31:15 pace 8'03"/mi, and the official time is 3:31:22 pace 8'04"/mi. Both are my #PR (7 minutes faster)!
This is my 4th marathon race this year (or ever) -- one more to go!

Done with 5th #marathon race and 18th marathon run this year: #Seattle Marathon 2024! Official time 3:33:04 @ 8'07"/mi, 1:49 short from my PR 3:31:15! BUT:
1. I got PR in half marathon: 2 sec faster -- 1:41:55 @ 7'46"/mi!
2. This is a much hillier course w/ EG 1,766ft (watch). My GAP is 7'57"/mi, 6 seconds faster than my PR @ #Snohomish River Run w/ EG ~200ft & GAP 8'03"/mi. Had I run that marathon today, I would have scored a faster 3:28:22!
3. Top 9% in my age group! 🙂
There was a #women's half-#marathon in #Kyiv #Ukraine earlier this month called the Kyiv Pink Run (everyone wears pink)
The runners unexpectedly intersected the funeral procession for a fallen warrior in Ukraine's #war against #ethnofascist #imperialism

May #running recap: compared to April 200.4 → 245.3mi (263.8 w/ walking), EG 4,071ft → 3,609, 30 → 36hr running.
This was whopping 45.3mi above my monthly 200mi goal, boosting for my June #Marathon race. No PR was gained, but I ran #marathon #24 this month.
I'm at 1,208.7 of yearly goal 2,400mi, 215.9 ahead at end of May (I can take a month off if I want!). The next full marathon race, running 220+ laps around #UW water fountain, is due in 6 days (https://raceconditionrunning.com/drumheller-marathon-25/). Onward!
June #running recap: compared to May I have 245.3 → 245.9mi (255.1 w/ walking), EG 3,609 → 3,728ft, 36 → 37hr running.
This was stable from May, and 45.9mi above my monthly 200mi goal. During the month I ran my 2nd #marathon #race this year (#UW #Drumheller water fountain race) and two 50+K runs on consecutive Sundays, setting distance record to 35.28mi!
I'm at 1,454.7 of yearly goal 2,400mi, 264.6 ahead. My 3rd marathon race this year is in August (https://www.tunnelmarathon.com). Onward!
