<p>American novelist, essayist, and short story writer F. Scott Fitzgerald was born <a href="/tags/otd/" rel="tag">#OTD</a> in 1896.</p><p>He is most famous for his novels that capture the Jazz Age and Roaring Twenties, a time of economic prosperity, cultural change, and excess following World War I.
