#LifeDrawing log: kitties!
Well, okay, I saw the kitties at a cat café before going, but they were good warmup, as cats tend not to sit still for very long. I used my tablet so as not to use up sketchpad paper. I've arranged them in the image roughly from earliest at the bottom to latest at the top. I was there for about an hour.
The human life drawing also went well. I'm getting the hang of the black paper at this point, though picking the pencil to use for the underdrawing is still something I get wrong from time to time.
Chef's special for the fives and ten was to consider the framing of the model. In the first five, it was just to create a frame for the exact box the model took up. In the second, to have a go at an interesting composition, either zoomed in or out. For the ten, he suggested making some thumbnails to try a few ideas out before committing to one.
