The Virginia Creeper has entered its fall fashion stage.

Bright red leaves of a Virginia Creeper ivy plant has attached itself to a tree and is working its way up. Each cluster has five individual leaves spread out and equaling the size of an outspread hand. The stems and roots which are are also ascending the tree are red as well. There are about six clusters. In the background are smallish trees and shrubs with bright green leaves.

A low branch of a Sassafras tree is extended toward the camera about 5 feet off the ground. There is a slight drizzle and the leaves are a bright array of autumn colors - bright green, red, yellow, orange, and shades of all of those. In the background is a wall of green hemlock needles.
