wants to watch Street Wars
A two-part episode from the TV show True Justice (2011-2012) marketed as a straight-to-DVD movie in some countries.
I went into it expecting crap and I was not disappointed!

finished watching Silent Rage πππππ
A sub-Carpenteresque scifi-horror, not great but Chuck does manage to emote and is fully manscaped. Not enough martial arts.

finished watching An Eye for an Eye πππππ
As an action fan, I've seen some real dreck. But this was actually a pretty well made thriller.
Sure it has its fair share of tropes, the fights aren't the most impressive I've seen, and I saw the twist coming a mile off, but it was coherent and well-paced and kept me engaged. After having just seen Norris in Slaughter in San Francisco and Lee in Starship Invasions, An Eye for An Eye was a relief!
(NB brief but delightful hamming from Stuart Pankin.)
Missed watching it in #KungFuSat watch party on Mastodon, caught up with it later.

finished watching Kung Fu Stuntmen πππππ
Fascinating / horrifying look at Hong Kong action movie stunt folk especially from films in 1960-1980s, & the things they achieved / put up with / survived / occasionally didn't survive.

Crazier than a sackful of flying monkeys, Chang Cheh gives us a gorgeously-shot, mind-blowingly absurd fantasy moving through Heaven, Hell & Earth.

It's a miracle the people responsible for this film haven't been hunted down and beaten with feeble, mall-dojo karate!
A truly terrible film that made for a truly awesome #KungFuSat watch party on Mastodon
