13年买过一个KP，觉得简直不要太香了！持续用到今天，最近刚转了美亚账号。
最近偶然获得了一个kindle咪咕版，用了一个假期，我算是知道为什么国内kindle会沦为泡面盖了…这咪咕版也太垃圾了吧

结果我自己换区发现不需要重置，也不需要修改语言和地区，退出登录（注销）后直接登录新账号就好了。我的账号是欧洲手机号，填写【区号】【空格】【手机号】和【密码】就给登录上了……本机的语言和字体设置都给我保留了，完全不需要重新设定。（天杀的美区注册不论是手机号还是邮箱都老出现内部错误，就拿一年续命充值一次的古早欧洲号码去欧区成功注册了。）
还有重大发现：#kindle 换区后本机内容都在本机，只是系统会以为这些书属于USB传输到本机，就不会把它们同步到云端。即：本机所有书籍都是保留的，但不包括阅读进度和划线。

直接在本机注销并重新登录新账号就行。

先下kindle app把本机内容同步到云端以后，kindle换区而app不换区，直接在app导出划线内容。国区app到今年六月底才彻底罢工（不能推送），所以也不用很着急。
也许是#生活小技巧。
Made myself a case for my old Kindle; bought black craft foam and contact cement from Michael's for a couple dollars, cut it to fit a swag giveaway knock-off Moleskine notebook I got while temping at a trade show years ago. A strip of black grosgrain hides the exposed binding where I tore out the notebook pages. This is version 2.0, after my wife suggested the single tab at the top.
I had a nice-looking, vintage book case, but it wore out. Hence the replacement.

TIL: Whatever #ebooks or documents you put on a #Kindle, they're being indexed & uploaded automatically to the #Amazon server if the device has an internet connection. Just found out with an unpublished #manuscript that someone wanted to read on their Kindle and it ended up on the Amazon server, although it was put onto the Kindle manually via cable. Whatever you do with Amazon devices, you're adding everything to Amazon's data collection. #Enshittification #AuthorRights #IntellectualProperty

PSA: There seems to be a host of stable #kindle #jailbreak s out there. If you, like me, have an older Kindle lying around, don't let it connect to Amazon for the latest firmware updates. Instead, head over to https://kindlemodding.org/jailbreaking/kindle-models.html and follow the instructions.
