I took today off, so I've been re-exploring the #JuanDeFuca trail over on #VancouverIsland

Wish everyday could be like this.

A cell phone shot of the forest along my hiking trail this morning. The temperate rainforest is backlit by the sun with the leaves glowing, nice and bright. In the foreground, a series of ferns are lit and highlighted by the sun while others are shaded by the various trees.
