A scene of the Chapter "SAWARABI "(SPROUT) of Illustrated handscroll of Tale of Genji (written by MURASAKI SHIKIBU(11th cent.). The handscroll was made in about ACE1130 and stored in TOKUGAWA Museum, Japan. The handscroll were separated to each sections and mounted to frame for conservation. Height about 21.5 cm.

One thing that's great about living in #Japan is that it's one of the few countries where the main hard-left party both has some power, and is critical of the pseudo-#fascist, ethno-#nationalist party that controls #China, which somehow still get adoration from other leftists around the world, especially in #Europe.
