Retraité, je me suis donné pour mission essentielle de profiter au maximum de la dernière ligne droite qui mène à mon ultime étape. Cela implique de mieux prendre soin de moi pour pouvoir aider les autres.

Comment prendre soin de moi ? Je lis et j’apprécie, je vois et j’imite, je réfléchis et je travaille. Je mets tout en œuvre pour le bien de mes semblables.

i’m danny (they/them), a #nonbinary artist and #insect enthusiast who draws a lot of #nature, especially bugs and mushrooms!! i also take a lot of #photography of nature, and bother people for the identification (i’m a life long learner and knowledge is tasty)!
i’m also working on a #graphicnovel (very early stages) that has a lot to do with the #environment, connecting with community and nature and what it means to belong to a place (also being #queer naturally) :3

2/4 obligatory #introduction: Music dork. Played in bands through my teens and 30s, still go to shows a few times a month, and host a weekly radio show on Ohio music history called Six Degrees of Ohio.
1/4 obligatory #introduction: Senior software engineer (still love it after all these years) in Ashland, OH. Installed Linux from 14 floppies and never looked back. These days it's macOS/Elixir/Phoenix, and lately most of my "notes" live in Obsidian — it's basically become its own hobby.
