A haboob, or dust storm, appears on the horizon as a brownish layer below an otherwise clear blue sky. Slightly choppy Lake Michigan waters, still quite blue, appear in the foreground. The Chicago skyline is becoming obscured.

A haboob, or dust storm, nears the Chicago skyline, darkening with the sun lowering in the sky. It's a little darker brown now, still beneath a blue sky, still with a choppy Lake Michigan in the foreground.

A haboob, or dust storm, encroaches now completely envelops the Chicago skyline, covered in a brown/dark brown haze. The blue skies overhead now also have a few clouds in them. The choppy Lake Michigan waters in the foreground are a little less blue as the ambient color temperature changes.

A haboob, or dust storm, now fully envelops the scene. Most of the people who were in previous frames have cleared out. The entire sky is brown, an additional beach at the horizon starting to disappear and all tall buildings further distant covered.
