A small house with a domed roof sits under a greenish purple sky. There is a greenish glow around the horizon. In the sky are a cluster of very bright, glowing objects, some of which look too large to be stars. The house has a small door and two glowing green elliptical windows on the side. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A rickety tower of stacked, roughly cubical, wooden shacks. Some have tinges of red or blue, like paint that has largely faded and flaked away. The topmost shack and one lower down have a round yellow window and dish antennae mounted on the top. Yellow light filters between the boards. The sky is blue, with pink on the horizon. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A blank-faced figure wearing a sizable black top hat and a dark suit glances down at a bright red snake with green spots coming out of its pocket. The figure appears surprised, but it's hard to tell what it's thinking since the only visible facial feature is a nose. The background is a light gray. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A reddish-yellow humanoid figure that looks like it is made out of modeling clay walks in a dull teal space. The figure's pose is roughly similar to a "walk" icon on a traffic signal. It is wearing a red necktie. Its head is a featureless, slightly grungy sphere floating above a flat neck. It appears to be holding a phone, although "holding" is a loose term, considering that the phone is floating in front of the end of its arm, which is smooth with no hand. The figure is casting a long dark shadow. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A rocky mountain peak under a gray sky. Hovering directly above the peak, fixed in a beam of white light, is a 3.5 inch floppy disk with a white red-striped label. If you grew up in the 90s, you probably still have at least one of these somewhere. Slightly farther down, approaching the hovering disk, are several people wearing robes. One of them is holding a staff. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A person drives a bright yellow forklift which is carrying a very large, tall cardboard box covered with colored postal labels and tape. The box has a door roughly cut in it, an open window at the top, and a tall pipe chimney sticking out of the side. The forklift is in a dull concrete warehouse. Dimly visible in the background is an illegible sign with arrows. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

A white fish with tinges of yellow and green hovers in a dark space. The fish has three eyes, and all of them look like the googly eyes from a craft store. Below the fish is a hole in the ground through which white light is blazing. The ground is a blurry greenish-yellow color, with indigo tinges. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

black, red, cream & white digital ink illustration features a simple drawing of a gloved hand wielding a hammer. this image is centred prominently.
above the hammer, sitting within a red rectangle, in a bold uppercase font, are the words 'have you looksmaxxed'. beneath the hammer, within a portion of black circle (the rest of which ends at the edge of the page), in the same font, it reads 'your local nazi today?'

The Gray Negotatior (2023)

I'm so disgusted by what the bourgeoisie is doing right now, all over the planet, that I have become chronically disgusted. I'm disgusted already when I wake up, before I have even read the news, just because of all the crimes they committed the days before!

I have been considering seeing a doctor about it. I'm not kidding. This is real. You know how they have anti-depressants? Maybe they also have something like anti-disgustants. I need the most potent option, and the maximum dosage, right now!

I think maybe the bloody aliens might have to intervene and set things straight in the end, because everyone seems powerless. And just imagine what would happen, if the negotiator they send is super fabulous!

S-O-S, S-O-S, • • • ─ ─ ─ • • •, you big-headed freaks! What are you waiting for? Help! Do you like cheese? Ours is the best and you can have as much as you can possibly stuff into that big mothership of yours!

The edge of a cliff, seen in a dark, lightless, indigo space. At the very edge of the cliff, leaning off it, is a structure that looks sort of like a cross between a lamppost and a tree trunk with very few branches. On the topmost branch is a "one way" sign pointing left, and a glowing green analog clock. Hanging from a lower branch is a traffic light displaying an orange signal. On the left side of the painting, approaching the structure, is a glowing bluish wisp. A green fog hangs in the air. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman."

The interior of a strange concrete building. Three rooms, one on top of another, are separated by concrete walls. Staircases extend and descend from one of them. Each one has a glowing light: a hanging lamp, a fluorescent bulb mounted by the stairs. The middle room has a door with an orange triangle on it. Below, in the lowermost room, a large horned monster sits beneath a blazing pink light. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".
