hi, my good friend Shanda and their queer household are trying to emigrate out of a shithole that's modern Georgia and look for a new life in Spain

"Georgia was safe for us, until the recent political events that started at the beginning of this year. Georgia is slowly being overtaken by Russia politically, and the recently added laws here are nothing but absolutely terrifying. The current ruling party Georgian Dream adopted the anti-LGBT rhetoric and made transition illegal, threatens violence against protesters, and constantly blames Ukraine for being attacked. As a trans man, my boyfriend lost access to medical help. We plan to move out of the country around mid autumn, if everything goes well.
We’re planning to move to Spain and all of us will seek protection there. I cannot return back home, my city is being bombed endlessly every single day, some of my friends and my brother are already dead. Both my boyfriend and sister refuse to return to Russia as they don't want to support the war; whatever taxes they pay simply by being there, go straight to financing the destruction of my country and murder of its people. Not to mention that anti-LGBT laws make it dangerous to stay there as a trans man (my boyfriend) and an open lesbian (my sister).
What we currently need to move is mostly a financial matter. We will not be able to rent out a flat in Spain unless we pay for ~6 months of living there upfront -- we do not possess this amount of money even remotely, as the rent is around 1000 euro a month, not counting the utilities. The tickets, visas for my boyfriend and sister as well as any other smaller expenses, we certainly can cover. But the first payment for the flat is something we are struggling to gather in such a short amount of time."
