Finally broke down and turned on the furnace this morning. It wasn't the coldest night we've had this fall, and the heat pump and wood stove do an admirable job, but there was a creeping chill in the house that needed to be exorcised.

I'd also put off cleaning the filter, which I finally got around to doing.
