I don't find the full version youtube link, but it's the first time I heard alb's ruins of jade, it's really massive track and heard it many times these days.
It took me a long time to realize that this wasn't a promo, but was released on Sound Ave.
The version played in Plasmadancer's mix (or other sets) seems to be slightly different from the released version. Many DJs speed it up, to match the bpm of freeform.
The melody synth sounds like a crystal, when it comes with alb's heavy chainsaw I'm satisfied

Taking a quick break from the set prep to confirm that TYFTH Live 011 will be happening tomorrow (25th) from 19:00 JST.

There's way more going on in the set this time around (using 3 decks here and there), which'll hopefully make up for the false start last week. It's still freeform on the psychedelic side, and pretty dark, even if I'm saving some recent tracks (you know the ones) for the FINRG set.

Been listening to a lot of SaGa lately (thanks in part to CDR), and since all roads lead to Betwixt, I had the best remix of one of my favorites already. This is one I'd have binge-listened in 2004 if I knew about it; it's exactly what I'd have gone for back then and it'd be nice to think he and I searched for a MIDI around the same time. Extra points for a fitting new title: Desperate!!

I'm back in Tokyo for a few days, so that means a weekday TYFTH Live! It'll be happening tomorrow (19th) at 19:30 JST. I've settled on the tracklist and it'll be on the longer side - a three-deck set of goa trance with a bit of NRG.

I've also been tinkering with the studio set for FINRG, as well as sorting out some ideas for 014 (which'll be freeform).

Looking back to when I first got into freeform, Alabaster's Santuario remains the most uplifting track I've heard at this tempo. With the restrained high end and never sounding overproduced, it makes me curious to discover (or create) more like it.

Dig UK oldskool Freeform Labels' tracks is a interesting thing, but today I want to make my memory back to the JP style, BTW's Skybreak is my no.1 this week. It's also my favorite from all xtreme hard compilations (although I forget too many tracks which were released after VOL.3 ).

Standalone tracks are overdue? Okay, full Crurifragium is kind of cheating, but...what, it's still not released? Fine, then! I will share his...Maruuk! This is everything FINRG is about, or at least should be about. Simple but strange sounds overlapping to create a particular unique feeling within the perpetual motion, then taking that feeling further with harmonies. I was at Mogra in Akihabara yesterday to finally meet and see @Ri_nergy play for the first time - lovely to hear one of the new generation bring such a well-mixed and selected Finnish/Japanese set to a club in 2024.

Not sure of the whole tracklist, but it ranged from Harder Than You Think to some unreleased Ri-nergy, via Nomic and Astraia. Good going in 40 minutes!

In the last two or three days, it feels like it's going to get very busy with somethings, and I gave myself a break for a while.
I always could't stop listening Full Circle DJs, such as their 'Psychedelic New Rose' & 'Big Kisses And Darkness' in the past.
Just like a sedative.
These days I tried to mashup some tracks to keep my mind calm. I chose the 'Digital Torment' by qygen & wyrm, and orbit 1 remix of Buzzmasta's 'shoreline'.
Actually I have mixed them at my earlier set already.They are both peaceful freeform tracks, I wanna create a world of serenity and peace, the world the buzzmasta shows to me.
