Ptown keeps surprising me, after all these years I spent so much time here. I came across CERALDI when I was just browsing dinner reservations and booked for 3 course dinner for tonight. It was an amazing experience!

It was fine dining but more fun! Our waiter was having fun explaining each course and wine. I could see the hot chef working in the kitchen and he smiled and waved at me 🥰 before we left.

They know where their ingredients come from, most of which from local farms on the Cape. The most local is the lobster from Ptown harbor. The flavor profile is very pleasant - not overly complicated or sophisticated but still gave me a little surprises here and there. I looked up the farm for the short rib that was in the ravioli and regretted it immediately - that farms raises Scottish Highland cows - like the cutest cow ever!

Anyway it was a great experience and next time we'll try their 7 course tasting menu!

Holy sh¡t! These are amazing. Palmier cookies: puff pastry, cinnamon and sugar. That’s it.

🧑🏻‍🍳

Heart shaped golden cookies cooling on a wire rack. They’re made from commercially made puff pastry sheets, sprinkled with a cinnamon sugar mixture, folded into a V shape and cut in 1/2 inch pieces. Bake at 400° F for 12 minutes; flip over and bake for another 3-5 minutes. Remove promptly and cool. The sugar will continue to carmelize, so it is crucial to remove them from heat when they’re done baking.

If you are against animal exploitation but won't go vegan because fear of missing out on all the things that are not vegan, try to focus on the positive side when you chooce vegan: you are doing the right thing, helping the animals and the planet. It's a just cause.
Let's stop together making up justifications for something cruel.
