Our other clematis vine is doing well & blooming like crazy. Didn’t even notice the caterpillar till I was looking at the photos later. Everything in the #garden does great here until about June when the blast furnace heat arrives.

My favourite photo of the week - Field Forget-me-not growing on a grassy bit which one of the local business parks is encouraging to grow as wildflowers. For some people, the dandelion is just an annoying weed. For me, this plant is one of my favourite flowers in spring. The yellow flowers shine like little suns in the spring meadow and create a sunny mood even on dull days. The dandelions bring joy to children of all ages when you come up with a nice wish while blowing away the little seed parachutes and send it on its journey. Dandelion leaves are not just a delicacy for rabbits. They also make a tasty and very healthy salad for us humans.

I thought I had lost them last year, but some of my oakleaf #hydrangeas came back. They are more subtle than ordinary hydrangeas, but both are beautiful, giving us an end-of-the-day relaxation.
