Having artists in the #FINRG Discord has its perks: rare tracks, technical insights, even glimpses into their approach. But for those whose work you admire deeply, the cost is unacceptable. To treat them as people is to shatter a truth that gave you reason to live: that they carry a scarce divine fire that burns in sync with yours. They are not peers. They are a different species. Treating your heroes as human is akin to treating humans as animals.
It seems the solution is to compartmentalize.
