Ein symbolisches Ensemble: Oben ist der Palast von Aiete in Donostia/San Sebastián zu sehen, heute Zentrum des Friedens und der Menschenrechte (früher die Sommerresidenz von Franco 🤢). Darunter - sozusagen als Basis unter dem Rasen und hinter der grossen, bunten Fensterfront - ist die Bibliothek des Kulturzentrums von Aiete untergebracht. Wissen und Bildung ist die Basis von Versöhnung und Frieden - so lese ich die gestalterische Botschaft. Das ist wunderschön anzusehen. #Fensterfreitag

Unter einem blauen Himmel ist ein herrschaftliches, weisses und neoklassizistisches Gebäude zu sehen. Darunter, unter dem Rasen, eine bunte Fensterfront in Blau- und Grüntönen. Es scheint so, dass sich die beiden Gebäude in einem gründ bewachsenen Park mit Fusswegen befinden.

A timeless black and white photograph of a landscape, as seen through a wooden window structure. This was taken along the running trail at Merced Lake in San Francisco. The window structure is the remnants of a large city sign/poster that has been removed, leaving a wooden box that nicely frames the gorgeous lake and serene landscape in the background. The wooden frame is inset so you can see the landscape extending out on every side of the image which reminds us that everything has a continuing story and to look beyond the edges and truly explore.
