📷 Two years ago today, I bought my first Pixel phone (7a), and have hit the shutter button more than 101,000 times since. The actual number is greater since I've deleted uncountable exposures.
Maybe 5-10% of those are "selects"—shots I might share. Note that tonight I took *20* shots of a cup of green tea on my dash and, in the end, none made the cut. 😅

📷 Happy #Caturday, y'all! ❤️
📷 After Hurricane Helene, I played photojournalist in the neighborhood and shared stories here. Here's one I didn't:
This is Billy with FOUR SEASONS LANDSCAPING in Bourbonnais IL. He walked up when I was shooting their truck at the Circle K. We shared a laugh about the company name, and I asked him a couple questions. Four Seasons were there to remove trees from power lines and roads.
There were MAGA rumors at the time (October 6, 2024) about FEMA being purposely absent from the clean-up to slow recovery to and Republican voting in the Election, and mysterious camps in the area, etc. Billy had heard them all.
He was no Biden/Kamala fan, but Billy did prefer the truth about FEMA. Four Seasons were contracted by the Agency to work here, and he and co-workers stayed in a nearby "camp" of purpose-built long trailers with showers, lockers and dorm-style bunks.
