Feditext beta users: version 1.7.2 (build 139) adds persistent display filters for home/local/federated timelines (upper right corner button). when you hide boosts or replies, they will now stay hidden when you navigate to other timelines or relaunch the app. it also fixes the accessibility label for the filter button.
in other news, our lead dev Vyr is looking for a new, less stressful day job. please wish her well.
today we're opening up the beta to more users. here's what we need from you:
enable Share With App Developers under iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements so we get crash dumps.
file bugs at https://github.com/feditext/feditext/issues so current and future contributors can read them. DO NOT @ US HERE.
if you get an error with a Copy JSON button, tap it and paste the results into the bug report. that will give us details we don't get otherwise.
Feditext beta users: today's version 1.7.2 build 130 adds support for push notifications from GoToSocial instances.
you will need to be running a development version of GTS 0.18 with this patch applied <https://github.com/superseriousbusiness/gotosocial/pull/3762>, or wait for the *next* release candidate (0.18.0rc1 doesn't have it) or the 0.18.0 release proper.
users of other instance servers don't need to update.
Feditext beta users: the TestFlight build expired this morning. i'll push a fresh one ASAP but i'm at work so it might be an hour or two.
