It was a place to wander about in while feeling amazed and peaceful at the same time. The mountains in the background were grand, immovable, and imposing with an unusual sense of benevolence that made me feel watched over and protected.

I imagine that's why the trees seemed so happy, swaying gently in a cool breeze, nodding a friendly hello to me as I walked through.

I like this man's face, the set of his mouth, which implies a quiet determination. There is a wisdom to his eyes and a sadness as well, because wisdom derives from our experience, most notably that which has come through pain and suffering.

One gets the idea that he would not easily believe all this he is told, because I imagine he's been told a lot that is not true.
