Today, @Curia is back on the fediverse with their new Mastodon instance.
This is part of a broader @fediversity effort funded by @EUCommission and @EC_NGI initiative for an open and decentralised internet, bringing easy-to-use, hosted cloud services with service portability and personal freedom to everyone.

Most probably, they were projects financed by our #CohesionPolicy.
One of its goals is to create local jobs at heritage sites and attract visitors to specific cities and locations.
For example, it helped restore facades and most of the historical buildings in Cittadella at the heart of the Gozo’s island in Malta. Piazzas and streets were also recreated and repaved, making now the medieval citadel look as new!

Among others, it has supported building transport infrastructure in urban areas, home to over two-thirds of the EU's population.
For example, it helped the construction of 5.1 km of new or renovated rail track and 5 stations in the metro line 1 in Naples.

The Cohesion Policy supports infrastructure in EU countries with need for additional investment. It has enabled faster connections between people, boosting a greener, low-carbon and circular economy.
One recent example of its action is the new metro line in Thessaloniki, which it was inaugurated the past November.
