My contribution to #DefaidodonDay :-)

I still haven’t lost any of the neighbours’ sheep. If I stand and talk to them they come closer, easier to count. Some are still looking at the gate, maybe hoping that food is following.
One of the last coal-powered sheep.
Most sheep are all electric now.
On the theme of finding little bits of joy (and a timeline cleanse), I walked over to see my neighbours at lunchtime. Their Llanwenog ewes have started lambing (the flock I watched last year 😊). They have a lovely system of moving them out from the shed to a paddock in a lamb pram with mum following behind.
While I was gardening earlier I heard a lot of bleating so snuck down the footpath and found a little gang of lambs had discovered the stream through their field and were taking great delight in gambolling down to it then back up, down, up, etc…
In turn I took great delight in watching them.
Boing boing boing!
I’ve been lambushed!
