Come Sit and Stay

After waking up at a foggy Bodega Bay campground I walked out towards the beach and came across this bench hidden on the tall beach grass. The empty bench, the fog, the tall grass, the waves crashing in the distance, all seemed to reflect the empty feeling that had come over me on this summer morning.
We left the ocean a day early and found nice warm summer weather 70 miles inland.

Come Sit and Stay

This is an image of a park bench found deep in the tall green grass at a campground at a Bodega Bay campground in Northern California.
The foreground is a small coastal bush surrounded by tall beach grass. The grass has pretty much grown all around the bench with no real path to get there.
In the background there are some coastal cypress partially obscured by the fog.
