East Rosebud Canyon trail aka "beaten path" used to be busiest trail in MT. 45K thru the glacially carved canyon, then up onto the Beartooth Plateau, ending near Cooke City. Slices S-SW thru highest terrain in MT. Ravaged by 13JUN2022 flood, 11K has been rebuilt from 1930m start, to washed out bridge 2400m Rimrock Lake.
