During 2017’s Cinéma du Désert tour, the completed film will be screened for the public, with special focus on the Garango region, from which around 70% of Burkinabè migrants in Italy originate from. "“We are very focused on AI. The biggest problem with making films today is the expense,” Vinciquerra said at Sony’s Thursday (Friday in Japan) investor event. “We will be looking at ways to…produce both films for theaters and television in a more efficient way, using AI primarily.”"

#art #history: every 28th october, i use elsa lanchester (born #otd in 1902) as an excuse to pay homage to mary wollstonecraft shelley's masterpiece, 'frankenstein'. mind you, elsa was pretty cool, herself. difficult not to be when you're the daughter of a suffragette who was also secretary to eleanor marx.

Lo aspettavo da un sacco e non sono rimasto deluso.
Mars Express è davvero un ottimo thriller cyberpunk con un worldbuilding fantastico, mi sono perso con piacere nei dettagli.
Anche se l'incipit è abbastanza classico, nella seconda metà cominciano a venire fuori tutte le trovate più creative. Il finale è meraviglioso.

Napoléon - Abel Gance (1927 - 562 min) #tercinema

Quando se fala de filme longo, a primeira coisa que me vem em mente é o épico francês de 1927, Napoléon, que em sua versão definitiva tem 9h22 de duração. Existem vários outros cortes do filme, variando entre 4h à 7h de filme, então mesmo que desconsiderarmos a versão mais longa, ainda continua um FILMÃO.

Um detalhe interessante, é que ele tem algumas partes pensadas para serem exibidas em tríptico: três telas simultâneas, nem sempre mostrando a mesma imagem.

Inicialmente o filme foi exibido em 8 cidades européias, e depois de passar por Londres, o filme foi editado drásticamente, mantendo apenas o painel central para exibição para o publico dos EUA. E mesmo assim foi recebido com indiferença, por causa da chegada dos filmes falados.

E ai? Tens o que é preciso para esmagar essa lata? (De 35mm)

When early reports came out that "Joker 2: Folie a Deux" would be a jukebox musical, we were skeptical, but gave it the benefit of the doubt. We may have been naive. The Todd Phillips-directed sequel has been absolutely panned, with critics seeming to be in competition for the pithiest putdowns. @people's Tom Gilatto calls it "turgid with misery," while Observer's Dylan Roth describes it as "a product of wild, aimless ambition, the sort of mad swing that would be laudable if it weren’t so absolutely awful."
