For #Caturday today I am going to talk about Minna, my void cat. 🧵 1/

A few months ago she started acting like she was in serious pain in her hips. She is ten. She has always walked a little knock-kneed but was otherwise fine, until now.

Two vets and four urgent vet visits later we had an actual diagnosis: her hips are completely arthritic, and also one was apparently broken and healed badly when she was a stray (before we got her). Hence, the knock-knees.

Mimu is another of our rescues. She was found in a box with ‘please help me’ written on it. Both back legs were ‘amputated’ near the ‘elbow’, how we don’t know. Mimu thinks she runs our house, and has the murder mittens to prove it. #caturday #cats #feralrescue #catsOfMastodon
