Took Atticus to the vet today to follow-up on his foot which is still swollen from a few weeks ago. Because of the continued swelling we did X-rays. The news on that was not good. It showed a possible lesion and a possible fracture in his foot. The lesion is indicative of bone cancer. The X-rays are being sent to a specialist. If he agrees, we will need to do more advanced imaging to see if it has spread. If it hasn't spread, then we will simply remove the leg and he should be fine. If it has spread, I will have him put down because I am not going to put him through chemo.

Now the ask. I am going to need to raise money for Atticus's care through this. Just the vet visit today has put a huge dent in my budget for the month. The next steps are going to be very expensive. I don't like asking for money, but I don't feel like I have a choice here. If you are able to contribute, please do. My Venmo and Cash app are both PaulDitz.
