Soot lost Mr. Mouse, her previous favorite toy.

After a couple of weeks, she has selected this one, which I dub Ms. Cherry, to be her favorite toy.

I bought a half dozen of these because I knew she'd destroy/lose them. She only plays with her 'favorite', goodness knows how she decides. But once she does, she carries it around and demands I throw it.

My sweet girl always seems to know when I’m low. She comes over frequently to give and get attention and affection from me. I will really miss her when I’m away from home for most of this summer. She is not a traveling cat, or I’d take her with me.

Lorsque Aude H.D. avait visité le refuge pour adopter un compagnon, on lui avait présenté Félix comme un chat de canapé. Elle se projetait déjà flemmardant sur son sofa avec la douce chaleur ronronnante contre son coeur.
La réalité la rattrapa bien vite. Félix n'était visiblement pas un chat de salon. Il passait le plus clair de son temps perché au sommet des arbres. Le malentendu était désormais évident. Il était en fait un chat de canopée.

Have you ever heard the story of how the cat got a black heart nose? It all began with a cup of coffee. The cat wanted the coffee so bad. His owner said, “I’m going to the kitchen. Promise you won’t drink my coffee.”

The cat promised, but he couldn’t resist it.

When his owner returned, the cat denied drinking the coffee. But his owner knew.
