Anyone has experience working with an architect? I’m looking to start a renovation but I have no idea what’s the process. And a builder I talked to told me to get an architect to draw up a plan first. He also said he could refer one to me and it’ll likely cost $12k - $15k for the plan.
Is this a reasonable price? It’s a 1500sqft old colonial two story house.

And I raced with the Mattapan Trolley on the Neponset trail! It was just leaving the station, so I lighted it up! The operator saw me too and said hi (by ringing the bell) and waved at me! And I did win the race because the trolley had to stop at the next station 😂
