Rated The Beast That Shouted Love at the Heart of the World 10/10
Great reflections about the nature of evil, and one of the prime examples of how good Science Fiction isn't about technological artifacts, but about humanity. The treatment given by Ellison to his female characters is questionable at best, and some of the stories are quite dull. But, at its best, this book sets a high bar for short stories in the genre. A very interesting read, but not one without caveats.
Rated The Sandman, Vol. 4: Season of Mists 4/10
Many Sandman fans seem to think this is the series' best story arc. In fact, lots of important events in the story either begin here or are related to things presented in this volume. But, for me, it seems to be more of a solid foundation for the great stories that come later than a great arc by itself.

Rated Pep Confidential: The Inside Story of Pep Guardiola's First Season at Bayern Munich 8/10
An interesting account of Guardiola's first year in Munich, filled with inside stories. While the author's admiration for Pep can sound a bit excessive at times (even if the portrayed manager is indeed very impressive), this book is still an interesting read both for those interested in the Guardiola phenomenon and for those who want to see how Bayern coped with the highs and lows of their first post-Heynckes year.
