Rated Doctor Who: The Sixth Doctor - The Last Adventure 10/10
This was a great set of stories and eventual regeneration send-off for the Sixth Doctor. He finally gets his moment! All sorts of great companions too. I was very pleased to finally listen to this (though I waited until I was done with the Sixth Doctor's run in my recent Classic Who viewing).

Rated Doctor Who - The Vault: Treasures from the First 50 Years 10/10
Really great in a nuts-and-bolts, behind the scenes sort of way. This is not the book you want if you need detailed descriptions of every episode, but this is perfect for the overarching details and almost everything that has gone into making the show over the past 50 years. I could've used a little bit more on the Big Finish productions, since the Eighth Doctor content is so scant, but by the time this book was in production, I don't think they'd even made the audios canon yet through <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U3jrS-uhuo">"Night of The Doctor."</a> But that's a small quibble because I am so Team Eighth Doctor. Otherwise, excellent stuff and worth the money for hopeless obsessives like myself.

The trouble with reading an excellent, supremely funny book is that I could probably read the whole thing aloud to passerby (though some of it not while small, parroting children are present), and as such, I could flip open just about any page and excerpt it here. Shukert never falls into the navel-gazing, “look how important and witty I am” trap that other memorists might — she is who she is, and that’s how she writes. It’s refreshing, having an author talk about both good times and also the most embarrassing, since any good writer knows that the humiliating stuff is really just more writing fodder.<br><br><br>This is not a group-hug, Elizabeth Gilbert-style memoir, and the world is better for it.<br><br><br>(Full review can be found at <a href="http://glorifiedloveletters.blogspot.com/2010/09/everything-is-going-to-be-great-by.html">Glorified Love Letters</a>.)

Rated Doctor Who: Trouble in Paradise 8/10
This was pretty good and reminded me I should listen to more of the Sixth Doctor adventures. I'm glad they made Columbus an asshole (to put it lightly), just as he was in real life.
