Yesterday, after I examined my clematis collection, I expected first bloom of Nelly Moser the following day. Not only I was right, but I found three Nelly Moser flowers in the morning. From my last year experience Nelly Moser variety is a real show maker. It seems to never be tired blooming throughout the year.

I went to a local non-chain garden center in Kraków today. I knew from my previous visits that they have a respectable selection of clematis plants. However, their current offer blew my mind. Hence, for the next couple of days I will be subjecting you to pics of blooming clematises on a daily basis.
1/n: clematis variety Sweet Morning.
It was introduced in 2025 by Szczepan Marczyński, top Polish clematis breeder.

This is an older Western trillium, in urban forest. They're usually all white. As they get older(takes many years), you'll see shades of pink & purple petals.
Please never disturb Western trilliums in the wild. They are extremely sensitive native plants & need to be left alone to visually admire. Western trillium takes up to 15 years to flower. Once it has been picked/heavily disturbed, it dies. Please leave them growing 🙏
