I think there's 9,000 exchanges on #Mastodon I've been in or witnessed where about 9,000 tons of unnecessary drama gets generated because of the conflict between those 2 mental styles

I would rather have Joe Biden drooling on the Resolute Desk while the intelligent and eminently competent team he has assembled runs the country than have Trump smearing catsup on the Oval Office walls while the team of actual Nazis and sycophantic idiots he has assembled dismantles our democracy and civil rights.
See how this article about replacing #Biden totally ignores Kamala Harris and boosts Gavin Newsom? Even though only Kamala Harris can use the funds Biden’s campaign has raised, if it comes to that.
I suspect that this is what it’s all about. Newsom has a track record of supporting very neoliberal, anti-labor, poverty-punishing policies, something Biden does not really do and presumably Kamala Harris wouldn’t do.

Meanwhile, the press is hectoring #KamalaHarris over her "price controls."
WaPo's run one opinion piece about tariffs in the last six months. It was headlined, "How #Trump taught #Biden to love tariffs."
They've run a grand total of one opinion piece this year about the central policy proposal of his campaign, rounding up and deporting 15 million people.
