Catching up around the house today.
Taking a casserole dinner to the grandkids along with dessert later.
I have missed baking treats for family.
I hope they are in the mood for pumpkin pie.

Getting together with my friend Matt Beard whose art I collect. We are meeting for ice cream on this perfectly sunny afternoon.
It's been months since we chatted so there's going to be lots to share.
I'm woefully out of touch with his art and poetry adventures.
Because I always bring him fresh cinnamon rolls I started prepping first thing this morning.
They need to rise one more time before baking.
Should be baked and cooled enough to add the cream cheese frosting before I have to leave.
Barely.
