<p>Today marks one month since <a href="/tags/helene/" rel="tag">#Helene</a> blew threw the greater <a href="/tags/asheville/" rel="tag">#Asheville</a> area resulting in many deaths, widespread destruction and total loss of some communities due to flooding.</p><p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@avlcharlie" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>avlcharlie</span></a></span> and others kept us posted then and are still recovering from the storm, day by day.</p><p>I asked Charlie which local aid organizations folks anywhere could donate to.
