Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman took this picture of Earth from the Orion spacecraft after completing the translunar injection burn. There are two auroras (top right & bottom left) and zodiacal light (bottom right) is visible as the Earth eclipses the Sun.

It has been a real treat watching a federal agency do something other than torment its latest victim. This is the sort of thing I want my tax dollars used for!
It never gets old seeing what humanity can do with math and science while we continue to battle against our base instincts down here on Earth.
Today we're sending the first black person & the first woman to the moon.
But I know that Dr. Mae Jemson was the first black woman to travel into space when she served as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1992.
