Can a good soul help me set #Obsidian back to its original design in #Android? This latest update is not ideal for mobile devices with small screens, and they don't take the accent colour either.

Uninstalled #NovaLauncher from my phone because they added ads and whatnot. Not opposed to paying for a launcher but that rollout gave me bad vibes.

Would prefer a reliable #FOSS alternative. I mainly liked Nova because of the dock and I found it easy to customize. I'm definitely not a power user.

But looked in the F-Droid store and there are WAY too many launchers, lol.

What FOSS launchers have folks found useful on #Android? (I'm running #GrapheneOS)

I was thinking that the only reliable function of modern phones is the mirror, provided they have a glossy screen. Then I've realized that when the shit hangs with the screen on, even that one purely optical function doesn't work.

The cybercriminals in control of Kimwolf -- a disruptive botnet that has infected more than 2 million devices -- recently shared a screenshot indicating they'd compromised the control panel for Badbox 2.0, a vast China-based botnet powered by malicious software that comes pre-installed on many Android TV streaming boxes. Both the FBI and Google say they are hunting for the people behind Badbox 2.0, and thanks to bragging by the Kimwolf botmasters we may now have a much clearer idea about that.

I'm liking the Niagara Launcher after playing with it for a while. It brings me back to the days in college days when I had my first smart phone - a Nokia 5800 with Symbian. Endless of customizations.

The simplicity is refreshing and the new launcher brings a completely new way of interactions with the phone.

One thing I'm missing from this launcher is to turn off the work profile...

Desde hace un par de días, @phanpy hace que las barras superior e inferior se muestren con esos colores en Android 14, utilizándolo como aplicación progresiva (pwa) en Firefox, cuando hasta ahora,vdichas barras, respetaban el tema negro elegido. ¿Algún fallo en la interface, que hace que Android las muestre así, @cheeaun?.

He probado con otros teléfonos con Android 12 y Android 11 y ocurre lo mismo. 🤔
